Project trimmer bug in V5?

I just saved a project creating trimmed copies of the media. When playing it back many of the clips were messed up using the wrong part of the clip sections. Upon further investigation I found the problem is directly related to clips used on the timeline which are subclips. This is not good and really limits the use of subclips as I always archive my final projects that may need to be changed in the future. Hopefully Sony will fix this soon.

Upon further investigation the problem only occurs if you add extra tail/head to the trimmed clips. This is still pretty limiting since I always like to leave myself some room to tweak.

Whoa, this is pretty serious. I just backed up some projects in V4 and never bothered to check in detail if everything went ok. Hope I will not have the problem. Right now I'm too scared to load up the projects from the CDs...

Since you backed up in V4 you should not have any problems... I never did. It only happens when using subclips on the timeline (only available in V5) and only if you add tails and header. When I "copied and trimmed media" with the project adding a 2 second tail/head, every subclip referenced a wrong part of the clip. Once I set the tail/head to 0 it was ok. I hope this is fixed soon as subclips were one of my main reasons for upgrading.
