Project turned bluish! Please advise!!!

Never had this happen before.

I'm working in ver.5, editing along, dropped in a clip, did some trimming on the event track, didn't like the results, so I removed it by clicking on the "Undo" arrow button.

I went back to the start and noticed that now there is now a bluish cast to the everything. When I click on the "Split Screen View" button, I can see how the material was originally. Now, it looks as though I had adjusted the overall color toward blue, almost like looking through a daylight filter.

Anyway, after searching for over an hour, I can't find where the problem lies. Does anyone have any ideas as to what's going on? Any suggestions on how to fix it?

Thanks!

{EDIT} Okay, I found it just after I posted this, of course!

In the Event Track FX, the color curves and color correction had been "adjusted" toward the blue. But now I'm at a loss as to HOW this happened???

Any ideas???

Thanks, again!

Sometimes I have noticed in V5 That when appliying a filter FX to a clip it appliies it to the whole track. Check your track FX make sure it isn't lit up. Its not working like V4 for some reason. Also noticed when clicking the FX that the whole chain plug in menu comes up when I only wanted one FX.

I've had this happen in V5. Here's how to reproduce it.

Put the timeline cursor somewhere over your event. Drag an fx to the event, but let go of it where the vertical cursor line is. Instead of it getting applied to the event, it applies it at the track level. In V5 you have to be careful not to release it to close to the cursor.

I think it has something to do with new scrub you can do with the timeline cursor.

Now I know how the track FX got activated when I didn't want it to.

Thanks, Briggs, for the heads-up! Hopefully, Sony will get this fixed.
