Projects from VV3 to VV4

Hello,

Just purchased VV4 and was wondering if I will be able to take my projects from vv3 and transfer to vv4 and edit. I am assuming that it works but figured i'd ask just in case. Thanks!!!!!! Happy Sunday.

All you have to do is open the VV3-project in VV4.

What taleisin said. It works very well.

Just keep one thing in mind though: once you've saved a project vile in V4, you cannot open it in V3 again. So, if you have any projects you think you might want to preserve for V3 (for whatever reason), you should make backups of the .veg files. Copy them to something like .veg3, then only open the original .veg file in V4.

OK! Thanks for the information. Why can't you open it back in vv3???? just curious.

Just save the original VV3 file and you should be fine. VV3 is not able to open any Vegas 4 files. The files are not BACKWARD compatible, only FORWARD compatible.
