ProType sample

I'm making a short promo for my cable access station and wanted to use ProType Titler .. but after opening it up .. couldn't for the life of me figure the darn thing out.

Then I remembered I had bookmarked the Sony instructional video(s) ... and after a few short minutes ended up with this... (note: I still need music and voiceover)

Note: the background is a modification of one of the BluffTitler DPack's samples. The silver words are BluffTitler, only the white words are ProType.

Looked good to me. ProType ain't so tough to learn. I'm on for the Prime Rib Dinner.

That's a really annoying background. I know this was probably done for the cable station by another party, but it's too distracting to compete with text laid on top of it.

Brighterside you are using three different type faces mayby use only two, that will make it gel more, and why not do the whole thing in Bluff?

Here is a tip that might come in handy with text coming in and out

I only place 2 keys far left out of screen and far right out of screen then as I scrub through the clip when the text is in middle of the screen I create a key hit + then a few frames later create another key hit + then slide the two new keys apart
This will give you a fast smooth in motion and a fast out motion giving you a smooth overall feel to the text ..do the same in BLUFF

I do this for z,x,y motion

I don't see why Pro Type Titler was needed for what you did.
Seems like the normal Title Tool would have yielded the same results.

Looks like the ProType text is just 'laying' on top of all the rest.
I would try to better blend it into the DPack or just add the text vial BluffTitler so it all looks cohesive.

Possibly using 2 of the DPacks would be the solution.
Use this DPack as the 'Presents' opening but use another DPack with this same look to display your ProType text/titles... without using ProType or Vegas Titles at all.

I feel that the Vegas text looks out of place w/ all that's going on in this clip.
