ProTypeTitler? Previewing? Where?

I have setup a complex PTT Event. I wish to Preview this. When I click on the PTT "Play" arrow, where should I see this happening? At the moment it is stationary. What d I need to do?

Right there in the PTT window. I assume you've enabled automations and set some curves in the automation timeline? Grab the PTT timeline's cursor and drag it across -- is the text still stationary?

Anything if you focus on the Vegas timeline and play from there?

You should see it in the PTT window. There is no sync cursor so this will not move the Vegas timeline cursor. If you wish to Preview in Vegas, then just play the event as you normally do to preview in Vegas. So when you "play" in PTT it plays in PTT window, when you "play" in Vegas, it previews in the Vegas preview window. No sync cursor.

PTT has it's own timeline. Learning to control things on the PTT timeline is the key to understanding PTT. I found the best way to learn was to use the "presets" as tutorials and see how and why they work and discover the ways to take the guess work out of it and learn how to precisely control the timing in relation to the Vegas timeline. - Paul
