"Proxy files" and "Selectively Prerender video" settings

- In VP 20, proxy files are created at 24fps. Is there a way to change it to 30 or 60fps?

- VP20 kept crashing when using "Dynamic Ram preview", so I switched to "Selective Prerender" (shift-M). But I noticed that the video switched from "preview" to "full" video quality when rendering. I'd like a fast render to check flow and these renders are too slow. Also, I no longer have the ability to adjust or select a render template.

Am I missing something or has VP20 changed from VP16?

Thanks, Steve

There aren't any settings for proxy files I'm aware of.

Final render quality is set in project properties. You could also try using a GPU enabled template for more speed (NVENC, VCE, QSV). This is the same as 16.

For not being able to adjust a render template and dynamic ram preview crashing something is really wrong. Share screenshots or provide more info.

You could also try to reset Vegas and clear the cache out. https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/faq-how-can-i-reset-vegas-pro-to-default-settings--104646/

Proxy files are created with 24fps but are played at project/event framerate. Means a proxy file has the same count of frames as the original file.So no need to change framerate of proxy file.
