I've recently upgraded to Vegas Pro 9.0 (a). Own a Canon Legria HFS10 and a P.C that has a few years behind it (maybe 4 - 2 Gb RAM pentium etc). Recently shot some 1920X1080 HD footage, used proxyscript 1.0c to convert to MXF files. Worked really well except no sound. Am I alone in this experience? The whole process looked completely straightforward, but it all went (unexpectantly pear shaped re sound). I'm a bit raw, so please don't discount really obvious issues, but I cannot figure out how I got flawless MXF video but no sound (i.e no WAV files waves on teh audio track - it's not just muted!!).

Additionally, this is all new territory, so should I edit entirely in MXF (presuming one day I get sound) & then render, or should I simply view MXF as proxies and then render from original MTS HD files?? Any help is appreciated. Thaks,
