Proxy video question

I'm using the proxy feature to more easily edit 4k footage but I'm finding it does not work when previewing video from the trimmer (only on the timeline). The trimmer always plays the full resolution files. Any way to make the trimmer play the proxy video? I'm using Vegas 13. Was this fixed in Vegas 14? Thank you, Marc

Thanks for checking. It's too bad because proxy video is a clever workaround for lack of GPU support in Vegas but it's only been half implemented. I find working on the trimmer essential for long clips such as interviews etc.

Intermediate files like cineform  work great with trimmer hoverscrub; even for 4k - maybe give that a try.
