I have a video edited in VMS11, recorded in 1920x1080x60p with a Sony CX560V camcorder. As I learned reading some posts in this forum, blu-ray isn’t able to handle this format, so I bought a PS3, but I’m experiencing two difficulties:
1) The MP4 videos rendered in 1920x1080 60p are not played by the PS3. I’ve tried both Sony AVC (video stutters) and Mainconcept (no image) templates, to no avail. The best format played is Sony AVC 1440x1080 60p rendered videos. Is this normal or am I doing something wrong?
2) When I try to render MP4 60p with 5.1 surround sound using Sony AVC template, it returns this error message: “An error occurred while opening a codec”. Can’t Vegas render 60p MP4 movies with surround sound?
Thanks for any help!
