What is the purpose of this switch under "preferences"?
I find that if I switch it to "allow full screen preview" during PTT that no signal goes out the firewire port to my camcorder.

I assume V5 is designed to work this way - and the full screen preview isn't nearly as clear as if I were to simply right click and play the avi file using WMP - so what is the purpose of this feature.

Am I doing something wrong?

I assume the feature is also present on V4, but I've never used it.
