Publishing a video to the web

I found ACIDplanet.com where I can upload my videos to the web to share with other people. In order to upload video I need to render it as a wma, wmv or asf for streaming video, but the resolution sucks. I've watched other people's videos there and haven't run into that with their videos. Am I doing something wrong?

Which template are you choosing? I believe the default is 56K which is lousy indeed! Try using the 256K template instead and you'll get much better results.

I was using 56k or 100. I'll try 256 and see how that looks. Thanks.

Well, I'm not sure what I did but somehow it seems better without uploading the 256k version. When I rendered it with the 256k, the resolution was wonderful but it was to big to upload. I did upload another version of it in RealMedia and wonder if somehow having the two formats is helping the resolution. It still doesn't like transitions, but once you get through the transition the shot is pretty clear, most of the time.
