putting multiple photos at once on timeline

Previous versions of Vegas I could highlight and scroll down the files and load them onto the timeline at one swoop. Vegas 22 wont allow me to. Is this option been removed or am I missing something? Thanks!

I finally figured it out. It used to be you'd highlight one file and then hit Ctrl and the down arrow to highlight multiple files and then drag them to your timeline. Now it has been changed to the shift and down arrow at the same time.

CTRL-Select allow you to select non-contiguous media while Shift-Select selects all media in range.

@rob36 @Bofus @Reyfox It's always been

Select one, press Shift + arrow left, right, up, down to select the next file/s or lines.
Select one, press shift & select (mouse click) the last one to select all between those two.
Select one, press the ctrl key + the arrow key to move along, release the ctrl key & press the shift key + an arrow key towards the first selected selects all in between.

This is a basic Windows opp that hasn't changed for yrs if my memory serves me right & VP18 works this way.

But the new VP Explorer is broken,

Press shift + the left/right up/down key & nothing happens, or it jumps folders 🤷‍♂️ or
Press shift + the up/down arrow the whole of the next line or few lines get selected, the left/right keys then work but only until you get back to the orig one selected.

Try the Legacy Explorer vs the new Explorer.
