Bought Vegas 4 + DVDA in January - my first professional NLE. Just learning my way around it.

From what I see, the upgrades available in Vegas 5 are probably a couple years out from my skill level. However, I gain great advantages from the Vegas 4 forum, and I'm concerned that as the gurus migrate to V5, the community of support will dwindle for V4.

Am I neurotic???

You'll always have support for V4... V5 is the same as V4 but with new features, no drastic changes.

People who "help" in here do it for the sake of helping. There is very little "snobbery" or dissent (except for special occasions, when Zippy comes to vist...)

In short, you'll get a V4 question answered just as quickly as a V5 one.

Speaking of which...where is Kelly?
