Question about BCC Continuum 3D Objects unit and Vegas Pro 15 Edit

Hello,

I recently bought VP 15 Edit and I have a question about Boris Continuum 3D Objects.
Basically I have no idea about how to use some of the effects of this unit... :-)
Here is what I did (note: the preview window is set to show effect output, i.e. FX Bypassed is disabled):

1. start from an empty project
2. insert just one .png picture
3. apply BCC Layer Deformer effect
4. after that, the preview window shows a grey image: I would have expected to see the .png picture somehow transformed...
If I play with BCC effect parameters, I can see the changes in the preview window, e.g. if I select Preset + Sphere then I can see a grey Sphere, but no track of the .png picture in the timeline that hosted the applied BCC effects onto it....

I think I am missing something basic here... but I have no clue how to progress... :-|
Thanks in advance for any help

Cheers

Roberto

Perhaps read up on how to use this FX: https://web.borisfx.com/helpdocs/?page_id=826

... and watch the BorisFX tutorial: https://www.bing.com/search?q=bcc+3d+layer+deformer&form=EDGNTT&qs=PF&cvid=a6e715ac61104cf294366e141302c656&cc=AU&setlang=en-US&elv=AY3%21uAY7tbNNZGZ2yiGNjfOkO4eZ4UnyGQJh812NGwjXbVQIOY4K3nz%21yw37l2zI7veFU7jY9m0%21ejtH1jTov%21AS59ypNr5cf9M8sBgE6P1*

You'll need to play around with the Texture Layer fields set to 'source' under the front and side layers. I haven't used this FX before, but playing around with the settings did start to get some results.

Thanks a lot Dexcon.
I found the way to show the picture on the timeline: just need to set "From Texture Layer" to "Source" :-)
Now I can go on playing with the other settings...

Cheers
