Question about Event Pan/Crop

When I want to make a picture or video bigger in the Event Pan/Crop tool, I've noticed you actually have to take the mouse and move 'in" with it, thus making the picture bigger. It seems that in Vegas, when you want ot alter a picture or video at all in the event pan/crop, the picture or video stands still, and you're merely moving the viewpoint of the camera. Is there a way to change this so that it's more like the way you alter pictures and video in other programs. So that when you click on the border of a picture and drag in, it gets smaller; and dragging it out makes it bigger. I edit on several different softwares and this is the only one that does it this way. Furthermore, I'm a wee-bit dyslexic so that sort of makes it worse. It's a great program and the way it handles pan/crop wouldn't bother me except for that.

Thanks.

Try track motion instead.

As you pointed out, Pan/Crop is adjusting the frame of what you see. Track Motion adjusts the material inside the frame. Note though that Track Motion is only available on the track level, so it affects everything on the track.
