I have been playing around with DVDA and one thing REALLY REALLY bothers me (besides the fact that you cannot join multiple clips and have them play without re-encoding them together or going back to the menus)...
I can get the eight or so thumbnail links lined up perfectly on a MENU page, so they are properly centered and aligned, but when I add new pages and try to do the same thing, the thumbnails are ALWAYS a pixel or two off and, going from menu page to menu page, you notice a ever-so-slight "shift" in the placement of the thumbnails on the individual pages. Sure, they are spaced the same ways apart, but they might be slightly up and to the right, or down and to the left by one pixel/line when comparing them to a previous page.
This drives me NUTS and I've fussed with two MENU screen all day (really), just trying to remove the slight "shift" that I see when I go from menu page to menu page... please help. I even tried making a solid white background and had the grid come up and fussed with all 8 thumbnails on each page trying my best to "eyeball" them and line them up to no avail... sigh...
I have MyDVD, which I got with my burner, and the thumbnails always stay absolutely perfectly aligned when you jump from page to page (not to mention it allows multiple clips to play in sequence without going back to the menus after every one)... is there a way to do this easier in DVDA? I can't believe an entry level authoring program like MyDVD has these things, but DVDA does not?!?! I want to use DVD-A because it allows for 16:9 menuing and Dolby Digital encoding... something that MyDVD does not have.
