Question for those working with a darker UI on Vegas

On Windows Classic mode, I've set many of my Appearance settings to relatively dark shades of grey. This includes 3D Objects. All looks great in Vegas.

The only problem now is that my playback cursor in Vegas is barely visble - a very faint grey colour line over the also grey timeline background. Am I missing something in Windows Appearance settings? Does anyone know what setting affects this in Windows and if it's possible to make the cursor a brighter colour, whilst keeping everything else grey?

Slightly OT, I think it'd be nice if the playback cursor was a couple of pixels wider, would make it generally clearer. Also, maybe a playback pointer that moves along with the cursor in the Time Ruler bar would be useful.

Thanks

Ben

If you have XP there is a appearance choice called Silver. Its various shades of grays. If you don't like the default you can change the various objects from the Advanced tab.

Control pannel/change desktop background/display properties/color scheme/

Thanks BillyBoy - appreciate it.

I'm not a great fan though of the Silver appearance, although I know it's tweakable to an extent. I prefer the look if I customize Windows using the Classic mode. Not sure though if what I want (above) is do-able. Anyone else got any ideas?

Thanks

Has anyone here played with Tweak UI? I'd be curious to see what you can do with the Vegas 5 UI.

Tweak UI does not do much that will change the UI for Vegas.

It does things like removes icons on the desktop, change the appearance of explorer etc.

Maybe they've updated, but I thought Tweak/PowerToyz wouldn't run under XP?
