Question from an Acid user

Hey Everyone!

I use Acid all the time for making mash ups and remixes and now I want to expand into video editing/video mash ups. Can I use Vegas in the same way that I use acid? In other words can I edit video in the same fashion that I edit audio in Acid and can I do them both in the Vegas timeline including beatmapping of audio/video tracks?

thanks in advance

I've rendered MP3s from acid and pasted them to an audio track in vegas music studio with no problem. I believe if you use the special wav format you can stretch it out, etc...

There is no beatmapping in Vegas. Vegas is "music-unaware" in that it doesn't know about tempo, beats, notes, keys, measures, etc.

You can still do an enormous amount of editing and mixing in Vegas, just nothing that depends on the musical content.
