1) ---> can I work with the AV1 codec???

Many users have requested this, so maybe it will appear in the next or future update.

2) ---> can i have the fonction speech to text ???

Speech to text of Vegas uses Microsoft's service, so Magix must pay Microsoft continuously. Accordingly, this feature can only be obtained in Vegas 365.

I've found Post 365 to be surprisingly useful with the online contents. I haven't used 365 until now, after having just the "regular" versions of Vegas without 365.

Magix Movie Studio (MMS) now offers AV1 export, the resulting file will play in a media player ok but it won't import into Vegas, Boris's Silhouette or Mocha. dragged back into MMS it plays with flickering black frames, (I haven't tried other software), Magix do post this warning about it requiring Intel ARC, NVIDIA 40xx, So this format is pretty much useless to me.

I wonder if Vegas do add this codec it will be GPU dependant?

This is that MMS AV1 export if anyone wants to try it - https://drive.google.com/file/d/1dS21lxV0qai3hzSmBJBFXdHN2ZVq_iPu/view?usp=sharing

It says GPU acceleration is limited to those GPUs, not that AV1 playback or encoding is GPU dependent (though I'm sure it would perform better with a supported GPU!)

It's also useless to me as I either render for upload (in which case AVC, HEVC would be fine) or to share, in which case I have no idea what the person I will share it with has for hardware and need to err on the side of compatibility (so AVC). It it becomes standard a few years later that's great and I'm sure VEGAS will support it by then.

I don't fully understand what is the advantage of AV1 over other formats that, as @RogerS rightly points out, almost everyone can view.
