Question on discerning timeline details

Let's say that you are using 10 seconds of audio from a fairly long audio file with a lot of similar material as part of a project. No problem. But, having completed the project, I would like to locate the specific time stamp in the original file where that 10 seconds is located and I can't find reference information in Vegas. Does Vegas show that anywhere?

Yes, in the Edit Details window - press Alt+6 to toggle it on/off.

Select the audio event. and click on the Select column in the Edit Details window, so that the entry of the selected event is the entry on top. The Timecode In and Out columns are what you want.

You can also have the option to save markers with media files if you use the trimmer.
