I have been contemplating upgrading to Vegas Pro 22, especially because the AI text-based editing feature would be especially helpful for me. A few months ago, Vegas's recommended system requirements for AI features were "10th Generation Intel® Core™ i7 or newer" for the CPU, "NVIDIA® RTX 2000 Series or newer with 4GB" for the GPU, and 32GB of memory. My computer meets all the requirements save for the memory, but figured I could buy and install 64G of RAM on my computer and should be all set.
However, Vegas has recently added some new features to Pro 22 that may require higher specs. For example, the system requirements for the AI Assistant are considerably higher than what is on my computer. Does this mean I will lose out on the other new features added to the program (e.g., Auto Normalize, Auto Ducking)? Additionally, would upgrading my RAM to 64G even give my computer the "juice" needed to run AI text-based editing smoothly, or will Vegas to crash almost every time I utilize the feature? For tech specs, my CPU is an Intel 10th Gen Core i7,and my GPU is an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070. As much as I like what Pro 22 has to offer, I'm hesitant to buy it unless I am reasonably confident my computer can handle the AI features (with the AI Assistant being an obvious exception).
