Question: Spot's "filmlook 24p conversion" tutorial

Hi Spot,

I read your tutorial and that might be something that I need, but before I do that I have a question regarding the audio. Does Vegas also convert the audio automatically to match the 24p? Pardon my ignorance here.

Yes, it does. I guess that should be mentioned in there, because it's a very valid question. If you are starting with 60i media with synced audio, it doesn't change the length of the media, just the cadence that you have, so the audio stays in sync.

No one has a copy, it's just come out of Galleys. We had to remove 2 chapters in the print form because it was too big to ship. (too heavy for feasible shipping) People are seeing the new Forge book, and maybe some pre-releases of the new "Instant Vegas 5" book. But nothing has been released on the Vegas 5 Editing Workshop....Shouldn't be too much longer.
