Question: Vegas pro 8 titler for credit rolls

It has been stated that the new Vegas Pro 8 titler can be used for credit rolls as an improvement over the ancient and still lame credit roll generator Sony Vegas developers refuse to get rid of.

I still haven't seen a post from someone who has tried this. So my questions are:

1. Has anyone used the new Vegas Pro 8 titler to make a credit roll?

2. And if so how do you like it compared to the standard credit roll generator?

Thanks.

John

Yep. It's really easy and better than Media Gen's version. Not much you
can't do...It's a function of the "Y" offset (Transform tab) .. I'll go step by step if you need me to..you simply set a start point and end point and let the text roll...

I'm shocked you haven't noticed the threads about it. I made a & have the presets for download.

But I like the old way myself. simpler to setup for a basic roll. they both look identical when doing identical things but protype gives you a LOT more options.
