Questions:32bit uninstall & moving files to new PC

Question 1: If I completely uninstall 32bit Vegas Pro from my system, will that take the 64bit version or any of it's files along with it? I am a tad nervous about this and just need some clarification.

Question 2: What is the fastest and most convenient method for pulling all of my Vegas Pro files, projects, etc from one PC to another. (i.e. getting a new editing machine like a laptop) What have you guys done in the past?

Thanks for any help guys.

Assuming you've grouped all your projects and their associated media into their own specific folders (and if you haven't, do so before you start moving things or creating new projects), it's as simple as plugging both computers into the same network switch/router and dragging those folders from one to the other.

If the paths to the folders end up different after the move then the first time you open each project on the new computer Vegas will complain about not finding the files. You can tell it where the new files are stored and it will rebuild the project with the new paths.
