Questions about the trial version vs. Pro Edit & Pro

Hi, I'm new to the forum and VEGAS Pro in general. I'm testing out the trial version and have a few questions that I'm hoping someone here might be able to help me work out.

Looking at the comparison of Pro Edit, Pro, and Pro Suite I'm not entirely clear what I would gain or lose compared to what is in the trial version. I expect the trial is the Pro version but only see a handful of the HitFilm effects and nothing labelled as NewBlue. The two of them and DVD Architect being, to my understanding, the additions from Pro Edit to Pro. Are some things not included in the trial version? Are the NewBlue effects not labelled as such? Are *none* of the filters and effects included in the Pro Edit version? Or is there something I'm just completely missing?

If possible I would like to go with Pro Edit. At the moment I don't think I need the HitFilm & NewBlue effects so long as there is a decent selection of basic ones included... then again that's exactly what I'm not sure of. And I certainly don't need the DVD Architect.

One other question. I live in Canada and the price in CAD for Pro Edit is listed as $600. What happens if I select another country (US or UK) so I pay in that currency but still set my address for Canada? I only ask because the current conversion rates from USD and GBP would shave about $88 and $96 off the price, respectively. If I do that, would it force the sale to still go through at the $600 CAD, I wonder? Or is this the kind of thing I need to contact MAGIX about? Or just try and find out what happens?

Thanks in advance for whatever insights any of you might be able to lend! And sorry my questions aren't a little more... concrete.
