Questions before I buy Vegas...

I have a couple questions about Vegas that I would like to have answered before I buy it. (Everyone seems pretty happy with Vegas on this forum, btw)

1. There is very little mention of a titler in the SOFO literature. Is there one? Is it any good? One of the few things Premiere 6.5 has going for it is its excellent titler - how does Vegas' compare with that?

2. I'm coming from a DVStorm system and expect RT to be RT! Will I be able to use the Canopus card to capture with or do you guys recommend a separate 1394 card for capture.

3. For you who have used both, how would you compare DVD Architect with MyDVD Pro?

Thanks for your help.

Vegas has a great titler after you play with it for a while BUT it does not allow you to change fonts in midstream, like Premiere did. Most of us love Vegas so much that we either use third party titlers or resort to using programs (as in my case) like Ulead Photo Impact, or Adobe Photshop to create pngs (transparent or not) and use those to jazz up our titles. If the lack of a top-class titler backs you away from Vegas you're going to be missing the easiest and best editing experience of your life.

Also, Vegas does preview to your TV, sometimes in real-time, sometimes at a reduced frame rate, depending on what FX you've added to the clip, and the power of your machine. Most of us use the TV Monitor for color-correction and the computer screen at reduced resolutions for flow when there's several tracks and lots of effects going on.
