questions galore

I am new to the video program and am having a tough time getting started. The manual is so ambiguous that I have not as yet, "broken the code" to understanding the sequence of events. I would like someone to possibly call me to help walk me through the beginning stages so that I am not 'stumbling around' for too long before achieving progress. Is there anyone out there doing some "phone tutoring"?
Thank you for your help... whoever you might be.
John

I'm not offering phone tutoring but VASST www.vasst.com is offereing training DVD's for Vegas, DVDA, etc. that you will find incredibly useful. I would go that route.

No phone tutoring here either but another good way of learning is to search this forum for any answers to your questions - there's a lot of topics and tips around!

Also on this website you can find a DVD for learning Vegas and DVD Architect software:
learning Vegas and DVD Architect

good luck!

Hello again. I want to thank each of you for your responses. I went online to The Vasst site and ordered the DVDA Tutoring DVD. I am trying to help Missionaries from several countries produce video about what they do on the mission field. They bring me raw footage and I am trying to make a presentation for them to show in churches and elsewhere. Your help will be greatly appreciated and again, I thank you.
I own a small Christian Recording Company and have done a lot of work on ProTools. However, the world of video is a whole new 'dog' when it comes to logic. I admire your knowledge in this field. I know it takes a lot of time to get to the 'comfortable side' of knowing what you are doing enough to produce a good product.
I will take a piece from each of your replies and continue to learn what to do to become proficient with my new 'tools'.
Blessings
