I almost always render to wav audio, but I know that Vegas is supposed to have the ability to do AC-3 encoding. I am using Vegas 5.0b. Just for the heck of it I put a small wav file on the time line and then selected the Dolby AC-3 option to render it. But, I get a pop up screen saying I have to purchase the AC-3 encoder.

Am I doing someting wrong??
