quick ??? on clip size when capturing video.

i know it states the clip size will depend on pauses and breaks on aany given video recording...

my ??? is is there a way to change that in the settings somewhere ??

It looks like you are asking how not to cut up the clips on the camera stops and starts.
In the caputure utility, go to Options>Preferences>Capture and uncheck enable DV scene detection
