Quick Rendering for daily "sum up"...

Hee-laiii all,
I'd like to know, from your knowledge, which format (NTSC) I should use for a quick rendering (720x480) at the end of each day of editing to make a "sum up" of the work done and keep kind of an "editing diary" ?
Non compressed AVI ? Definitely not Mpg2... (at least I know that).

I don't want to spend too much time on it. It's just to have an idea and be able to have a quick glance at it the next day of work before starting editing and possibly keep rythm/continuity...

Thanks for suggestions...

Actually, if you just want to get a quick and dirty peek of how things are coming along I would try the Windows Media (V9) file type at the 1Mbps settings. The render goes very quick and you get a decent render quality.

Go to Tools and burn a VCD right from the timeline. You get an mpeg1 file at very quick rendering speeds burned to a CD-R(W). Play it and see what you've got. Roughly equivilent to VHS quality. I really like this feature and use it all the time to get a feel for how a project is going (or not going, as the case may be.) Darryl
