Hey folks! Would one of you Vegas Studio 6 users be so kind as to start up VidCap and tell me exactly what it says in the title bar? You know that blue line across the top of the program window that says something like "Sony Video Capture". And if anyone has version 4 I'd like to know what that says too.

Without an thing connected, it says "Sony Video Capture 6.0 - Default *". whitout the quotes of coarse. This is using SVMS Platinum 6.0.

Thanks very much! That'll do. I posted this in the main Vegas forum but it looks like it will be useful here too. Hopefully it will work just as well with the Studio version as it does with the full version.

(Don't get too excited yet. This is a v0.1 beta release. )

This program runs with SONY's VidCap.exe Video Capture program and provides programmed recording functionality, much as you would use the timer mode of a VCR to start and stop recording at specific times. Start and end times may be entered including the date. This program requires that VidCap already be running on your computer for it to function properly! It is suggested that VidCap be set to not enable DV Device control. The "Display post-capture dialog after capturing video" option must also be selected. The desired capture directory must already be created and selected under Disk Management.
