Quicktime 4.0

I suspect this is tantamount to heresy on this forum, but
since we are all in pursuit of the truth, is anybody here
using QT4? Comparison of Good, Bad.... We're looking at
streaming vid for the NET, but do not like the up charge
for the Real Server access. I also understand QT4 is
offering open source and the quality looks quite good -
better than Real? Are ISP's surcharging for QT4 Media as
well?

I'm running SF Stream Anywhere - good product, but I have
to wonder about the quality issues of Real. I'm undecided,
but thought I'd like to hear from fellow PC travelers. I'm
running PII 400 PCs (Win98 & NT 4.0) and I understand that
Media Cleaner Pro has now released in PC format. Any
experience out there with MCP PC?

We are using Matrox DS LE NLE with Premiere 5.1a to convert
for Streaming Vid either QT or AVI.

Thanks in advance. If I've offended by introducing QT into
this forum, I apologize.

The QT discussion is not heresy. Quicktime 4 came out during the
final days of development for Vegas. We have had several requests for
Quicktime 4 support and will consider it for future versions...
