QuickTime on Windows 10

I am running Windows 10 on a Surface Pro 3 and Movie Studio Platinum 13.0.
When I try to add a .mov file, Movie Studio says that I need QuickTime, but when I try to install QuickTime, it says it only Works on Windows Vista or Windows 7.
Any recommendations for using .MOV files with Movie Studio?

Only 13 steps to install QuickTime on win 7. Weird but give it a try.

There are some other suggestions when you do a Google search on this problem. Some are reporting that the latest version does not install on Win 10 and you need to revert to an earlier version.
