Quicktime rendering - yuck!

Anyone know why SoFo and Quicktime don't mix? If I try to render in Batch Converter, a bug freezes the app once the file gets to 100%. I render in Vegas and it pixelates all over the place. Anyone able to overcome this, or is it my system?

Must be your system. I stopped using Terran's Media Cleaner for making *.mov files becuase Vegas does it faster even with the Sorenson codec and there is no difference in quality.

To my knowledge the best way to render QT is with the optional Sorensen Pro codec. In any event, the choice of codec and whatever available settings under the custom dialog should allow you to get decent video out, maybe not at the bitrate/size you'ld like, but decent quality none the less.
