I am currently using the ATI 7500 without any problem although it uses a different catalyst driver. I would interested to find out since I am in the process of building a new system....

Any suggestion for another video card with 128MB of memory?

Thanks

I'm using an nVidia based Ti4200 card from MSI. 128mb of RAM, and dual monitor support. The latest Detonator drives from nVidia (40.41) don't project video overlay properly, and the 30.00 installer won't work :/

However, the 28.89 install works flawlessly, and video overlay runs smooth as silk on both monitors. nView -- nVidia's dual monito driver and control panel set -- is rather nice, and has some pretty rhobust controls. I also like its performance with my newest online gaming addiction: Battlefield 1942 :)

p.s. Yeah, the 8500 2.2 Cat's are fairly well known to cause Vegas issues. It's been posted here before -- sorry you missed it. The 2.1 drivers work well, though.

The latest ATI beta drivers (Build 6143) work with Vegas Video, so I would assume that the Catalyst 2.3 drivers will be VV3 compatable.
