Forgot to mention the system: WinXPPro, Compaq 1.0Gz PC.

I just installed XP Pro fresh to the hard drive after first having used W2K Pro and while in the process, let it get driver updates for me (today), and it went for a new one for my RADEON 8500 . . . and the problems I was having getting things placed over on the secondary monitor disappeared - no more problems!

Hi John:
I got new drivers from Windows update, too. But I still can't get any of the VV3 windows to move across to the second monitor. My corsor will not move to the second monitor either. How do you have the Hydra-vision software set up? My office phone number is 562-221-4745. Call me and I'll call you back on my dime! I'm in CA.
Thanks,
Steve

>>> My corsor will not move to the second monitor either.

sounds like an issue for ATI support, nothing to do with Vegas.

First...THANKS TO JOHN BEECH for taking time to call and help me out with this problem. John has a lot of video experience and he's a class act!

It was an ATI issue. I called ATI Tech Support and it turned out that my monitors needed to be changed from "Default" to "Plug N Play" on my PC Device Manager. My monitors are old CRTs so I still have to "muck" with the second monitor each time I turn on the PC...change the color quality from 32 bit to 16 bit and then back again. Seems strange, but what the heck...I get dual monitor convenience from old monitors! What a difference!

Hmmm, time to go shopping for a bigger cap? Just kiddin' - seriously, thanks for the kudos, but I only did what anybody else would have done.
