The clip shows a glowing fountain pen that moves in from infinity, radiates strong yellow/red light while it moves across the screen with text appearing underneath it, as if it was writing. The text too radiates a little.

Track 1 is the pen. Ive used pan/crop to zoom to size, position it and move it across the screen. Then I’ve added light rays FX, source point directly behind it, and with keyframes placed the source point behind the pen also when it stops. Thus the source point follows the pen, but not in full sync because of the smoothness of the pan/crop effect. If you want full sync here, take away the smoothness. You’ll lose a bit of life in the radiation.

Track 2 is the text. I’ve used a calligraphic font and added appropriate colour, outline and shadow, the works. I’ve added linear wipe transition (clean left to right) to let the text appear gradually as the pen moves across.

With sound and not too much else happing in the frame, this becomes a very dramatic and impressive effect. Use it sparingly.
