I've been wanting to experiment with using a RAM drive to
either record to or playback from just to see if it helps
performance at all. Just one Problem. I have no idea how
to set up a RAM Drive in NT40.
I read an article in Pro Sound news where a guy has been
using a program called Vram in conjunction with Sound Forge
4.5 but there is no reference as to where to get the program
in the article and I can't find it on the web.
I have 512Megs, Dual PIII450's, 10k scsi so I'm not hurting
on performance but I'd like to see what can be done with a
RAM Drive.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
