I am using Movie Studio 8.0 and I have a video in the time line and I go to File then Rander As.

I then pick to place it on my Desktop and for file format I pick MPEG-2

In the box under that it tells me the frame rate and things like that. And it says Audio NONE
But I do have an audio traak in the time line.

And if I make the MPEG-2 file anyway it has no sound???

How do I make an MPEG-2 file

To create a DVD in DVDArchitect, you export your mpeg2 without audio, then you export the audio in AC3 format separately, and then you put them back together in DVDArchitect.

Change the template to "Default" that will give you audio.

Question... why are you choosing MPEG-2? I always render my video as AVI using the NTSC DV (or NTSC DV Widescreen) templates and use that file in DVDAS.
