random audio clicks

For some reason I am getting random clicks or distortion in
my audio? Anybody else have this problem? I have a gadget
labs Wave 824 card .

With my GL8*24 under a dual-CPU NT4 setup, I had to set the
MPS version on my BIOS down to 1.1, rather than 1.4. After
that, I was able to set the buffers within Vegas for very
little latency, and still get no audio clicks.
