Range Selector bar looks gray instead of usual blue.

Has anybody seen this before? For some reason, the 'loop region' range selector changed to gray with Vegas 22 on my laptop, but it's still blue in Vegas 21. This happened this morning, and I don't know why. On my desktop, the 'loop region' bar still looks blue in Vegas 22 and 21.

I tried resetting my Vegas settings on the laptop by launching with Ctrl+Shift held, but this didn't help. Also, I didn't get the expected alert window. Reset appears to work, though, because parts of the UI did get reset, just not the color of the range selector. After that, I removed Vegas completely and reinstalled it with a fresh installer downloaded from my account, but this made no difference: I'm still seeing the gray bar when running Vegas 22 on my laptop.

I'm stumped. The gray 'loop region' bar is hard to find/see, so I would like to get the blue bar back. To be clear, the bar was still blue on the laptop yesterday, and it changed to gray only since this morning.

Thanks in advance for any help!

21-315 and 22-194 are both gray for me. I checked 20-411 and it was blue. Never noticed...

That's so weird. I've only ever seen blue till now, and 22-194 is still blue on my desktop.

Ah ha! Mystery solved. I wondered if I had somehow changed a setting by accident, and that's apparently what happened.

When I right-click over the Loop Region bar, there is an option called Loop Playback, which was disabled. When I re-enabled it, I got the blue bar back. To be honest, in all the years I've been using Vegas, the bar has always been blue and looping, and I didn't know that turning this off was an option. 😸

@Little_Green_Dog Yes, you do have to enable the Loop Playback button for the loop region to turn blue.

"It's been that way for a while." said the Vegas Pro historian.

Yeah, once I figured out what happened, I didn't think this was anything new; it was just an option I had never had to re-enable before, and it caught me off guard. Until now, I thought the Loop Region always looped.

Learn something new every day...or something old in this case. 😅

Anyway, thanks for responding guys.
