I've been doing tons of testing with Cinebench, Handbrake, and Vegas pro. Disabling cores via BIOS, changing power levels, etc.. Best performance is always in 8+16 configuration. In fact in a couple tests I set a 1+16 configuration with the P set at 1.4GHz and the E's at 4.3GHz. The Thread Director correctly used an E core when running Cinebench R23 ST as it at 4.3GHz is more performant than a P at 1.4GHz. Same result with the old CPUmark99 (also ST) benchmark. The E scores are definitely Skylake level IPC. Very impressive. If you want more info go to my posts at Anandtech at the Raptor Lake thread.
