RawInputInfo

Running W2K Pro (as admin)/IE6/DX8 with Athlon XP2000.

The VV4 demo installs fine, but when starting it, I get a "Get RawInputInfo could not be located in dynamic link library USER32.dll" error message. Nothing in the Knowledge base. What gives, folks?

The file in question is present in \Windows\System32\, version 5.0.2195.6688

Hope someone else can give you a better answer but that really sounds like a Windows issue.

Hmm, well there doesn't seem to be a GetRawInputInfo function in USER32.DLL but there is one called GetRawInputDeviceInfo. However, this function is only available in WinXP. So, my guess would be that you've installed some software (probably a driver for something like a mouse, joystick or keyboard maybe?) which is actually for WinXP and not Win2K. Does that help in any way?
