ok i'm seriously thinking of downloading and trying out acid pro 3.o
i want to do loop and remix music--im a wannabee remixer
my concern is if it may cause a problem with vv3.0
if that happens i will be very upset because at the moment my computer is running great
knock on wood
does any one use acid?
and if so, is there an problems with it and vv3?
thnx all
cheers

No problems whatsoever. One of the main reasons that I use Sonic Foundry products is how integrated they are to each other. I started with Acid and now use Vegas, Sound Forge, Vid Cap and even Super Duper Music Looper for my kids. The are consistent with their interfaces and menu options. In other words, if you know how to use one SoFo program then you can learn the others quite easily.

BTW, try Acid now! you will fall in love instantly. As with any SoFo product it is powerful enough for the pros and easy enough to use for just fun. Good luck.

None what so ever. I can understand why you'd be paronoid when you have your system running great but adding ANY sofo product along side vegas will do nothing but increase your productivity! Enjoy![Acid 4 will be released in the near future as well]

I'm hoping SoFo will offer a special discount upgrade offer for Acid 4 / VV4, vs a Forge/VV package.

Acid is hysterical! It's a lot of fun! You'll have a Blast.....SonicBoom :-)
Get ready to do some serious "time line editing" though.......Sorry, had to throw that in.

Have you been collecting those 8 packs?
Here's another place for some loop based DL's:
