It seems I almost always end up adding two audio envelope points - one to anchor the starting volume and another for the volume change. This usually is repeated for the end of the section being increased. Example: . . audio track to be increased . .

By grabbing the section between the two inside points the volume can ben changed and fade slopes can be easily auditioned and changed.

Why not have an option to add two ponts with one double-click - Ctrl double-click?
