Re: DVDA

Hi

I think I have now got rid of the jerkiness in my project having re-rendered. I re-rendered to the same filename as previous and DVD Architect appeared to pick up the new file.

The problem is now that the Optimise window shows that 139% of DVD disc space is to be used and I can see that the project mpeg2 appears in the list twice.

I cannot find a way of deleting one of them. Could this be a bug regarding the Selection menu. Is the Selection Menu referring to the old file and, although I have a new file with the same name loaded, perhaps DVDA's internal pinters still require the old file. Strange thing, though, is both files are showing the same size.

ANy help would be appreciated as I don't want to have to start from scratch
again.

Cheers

I'm not 100% sure if I'm following you correctly, but did you drag your project
from your folder up to your menu, and then hit scene selection? If you did,
you may have to delete one of the icons on your menu page, or it may try
to optimize and burn them both. That happened to me once, until I was told
what to do. I think that that may be your problem. Im not for sure, but that is
what it sounds like to me. When you drag your project up to your menu, it
shows up as an icon. Then when you hit insert scene selection, it will pop
up another icon that will have your chapters in it. The one that doesn't have your chapters in it is the one to delete from your menu.

I hope that this helped. If that is your problem, this may be the solution to it.
I'm not the best at giving advice on these issues, but that did happen to me
once, also. Good luck.

I had originally dragged the mpeg-2 file from DVDA's Explorer window. After re-rendering to the sma efile name that was automatically used.

Scene selection was set by right-clicking on the menu item.

I have actually decided to re-start the DVDA project again as I can't fathom this one out.

Thanks anyway.
