Re-installing V5

OK.
I have had enough. Another long form project that would not PTT. The app freezes during rendering W64 file. The problem appears to be
Exception 0xC0000005 (access violation) WRITE:0x0 IP:0x104CBDC
some sort of conflict to my simple mind. I have posted here and there (Vegas Cow forum), sent the veg file to Sony at their request but no feedback.

The work-around, as always, is rendering the whole 100 minutes before I can Print to tape.

I shall try a re-install and if that does not work, I would have no option but to try Liquid Edition ( or go back to V4).

What is the best way for re-install? I still have V4 on the system. Only other applications on the PC are DVD Workshop and DVDA2.

Would I have to reinstall my Plug-ins and scripts?
I have
Excaliber, Wax, Plug-in Pac and Cayman Graphics Power CG.

Please, please help me to keep loyal to V5.

I took you guys and SonyEPM's advice and did a clean install of V5.0d.
SonyEPM advised:
Mahesh, please use 5.0d.
The PTT problem persists but now I cannot render to MPEG2 - PAL DV template.
The render stops at about 130 to 140Mb with an inderminate error.
The project is a straight 1 hour captured AVI.
The AVI is fine because it renders in V4.
Should I go back 5.0b which alowed me to render to MPEG2 or 5.0a which didnot give me PTT problems?
