Haven't seen this covered yet. Vegas 4 with Athlon XP 1700+, 576MB RAM, 80+60MB dedicated HDs, 20GB system HD.
I have upgraded to 4.0b.
Now, when I pre-ender sections sometimes, although the cursor moves along the timeline, the pre-rendered section does not play leaving just a black preview screen. This happens whether I set the pre-render to draf through to best.
Any ideas what is going wrong and more importantly would this affect the final output to either PTT or VCD.
