I've started using the Avery labeling products. They have the software, the labels in quite a variety, and the CD/DVD label applicator (which I highly recommend to avoid air bubbles entrapped during the application). I did have to search a bit to find VHS face and spine label sheets, but found them and was able to create a custom template in Avery which worked fine. Of course, this is NOT a mass production set-up. DGrob

Word does include label printing for just about everything Avery makes although its not very capable.
I created my own template using text boxes for the VHS spine labels. There's quite a few cheap apps for printing CD labels and cover sleeves.
I've given up on CD labels, bought an Epson 900, much nicer result.
