over the weekend i shot video for my friends 40th birthday party
i brought my dv camcorder -- i did not bring my digital camera
3 people at the party had regular cameras -- not digital, not disposeable
anyway, i asked my friend for 40 pictures so i could include them in the final edit
i just got them and i can't believe it but the stills i took from my video are way, way, way better!!!
i am truley amazed
i scanned the pix in at 200 and 300 dpi, but the snapshots i took from vv3 are superior
just to rehash an old post
1) set preview screen to BEST quality
2) go to properties setting in preview screen
2a--change field order to NONE-progressive....(when rendering it should be lower field)
2b--click advanced tab--deinterlace method--change from blend fields to interpolate fields---(when rendering move back to blend)
click save timeline snapshiot to file
i can not believe the quality since i started doing this
i may sell my digital camera on ebay because i don't need it any more
just kidding
i just wanted to post this because i am truley impressssssssssssed with vv3
